Taking everything you love about Folks’ iconic warehouse events and placing it under the Cape Town sun, this daytime gathering brings underground energy into an open, central outdoor setting.

Hosted at the iconic Green Point Cricket Club, Folks Open Air pairs panoramic views, fresh sea breeze, and extravagant production with a carefully curated soundtrack of cutting edge electronic music. From afternoon grooves to golden hour moments, expect a full day of immersive sound, high quality production, and a dancefloor driven by community and connection.

The Sound and Lineup

The lineup features a carefully curated selection of local electronic heavyweights, built to take dancers on a journey from deep, hypnotic rhythms to peak time energy. Elan Schider leads the charge with his refined, driving sound, while NOY (Collecting Dots) and Contact High deliver immersive underground selections. Jamie Slabber, Pirelli & Talia Zaken, and Shoemaker round out the experience with groove led, dancefloor focused sets, ensuring a seamless flow of house and techno from day into dusk.
