Nexus Media is a Cape Town based record label run by Chris Hoy (Shift) and Liam Gibbs (Slug), focused on delivering quality Psychedelia to hungry dancefloors around the world.
The label was formed in 2003 when Shift, with increasing access to great music from both the busy Cape Town scene and like-minded international producers, decided to begin releasing some of the best under the Nexus Media brand. Since then Nexus has worked hard to showcase both new and established talent in albums, cd compilations, and most importantly, in high energy sets to dancefloors on every continent. We thrive on seeking out special tracks and artists that are guaranteed to deliver an intense dancefloor experience.
