The event
Sagoa 2022 is an open air psytrance festival happening not too far from Cape Town! Sagoa is hosted by Tranceformula who aims to shatter the ordinary with a blueprint for complete madness! This blueprint comprises magnificence on all fronts including décor, sound, lighting, 3D mapping as well as a glorious lineup that will undoubtedly knock your socks off!

VENUE
- We procured the most breathtaking ! The venue, just outside of Greyton, transpires an exquisite ambiance!
- The surroundings include wondrous wooded areas and cheerful grass.
- The venue is bordered by the tranquil Riviersonderend with rock pools and deeper spots perfect for rejuvenation in between dancing sessions.
- There is also a luscious dam for those who’d prefer deeper water for morning or afternoon swims!
- The incredible mountain view will charm you during the day and the sky filled with stars will electrify you by night. (EXACT LOCATION TO BE RELEASED!)

DANCEFLOOR – THE HOLLOW TWIN
Tall, fluffy, trees allow for a shaded dancefloor from morning till dawn!
CAMPSITE
The campsite provides various camping spots: Some campsites are closer to the river and some closer to the dance floor while others will be closer to ablution facilities. Many of the campsites are shaded and covered with grass.
A first-come-first-serve system will be followed with regard to camping. We strongly recommend arriving as early as possible!
ALTERNATIVE ACCOMMODATION
The venue is super close to the town! For those who are not keen on camping, Greyton, offers many luxurious accommodation options. Be sure to make your booking early in order to avoid disappointment.
BOOZE
We are setting up the bar with all the well-known favorites. We’ll definitely include some lekker specials. Be sure to check out THE COCKTAIL CORNER when you swing by! Don’t worry! You will still be allowed to bring your own booze. Please remember to not bring it in glass. DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE!
You are more than welcome to stay over on Sunday night as long as you head home before 12:00 on Monday.
PSYCARE
This space will be fully equipped with an indigenous medicine stand, Reiki, massaging, crystal readings as well as spiritual guidance for those in need!
PARKING
All cars will be allowed to park at their campsites! To make this attainable and to be as environmentally conscious as possible, carpooling is strongly encouraged.
CARPOOLING
How will it work?
A R50 fee will be charged at the gate for every empty car seat (ONLY IF YOU ARE FEWER THAN 3 TROOPERS).
Examples:
If you are 2 people, the fee will amount to R50.
If you are driving solo the fee will be R100. Make sure to have cash on hand if you are planning on having unused seats.

Where will the open seat fee go?

FUR FRIENDS
Pets are more than welcome if they like the outdoors and get along well with other animals and people.
RULES & REGULATIONS (NB)
1. Fires of all sorts are prohibited. This includes braai’s and gas.
2. This is an over-18 event. Identification Documents will be requested. (No photocopies, affidavits or expired documents will be accepted).
3. No glass will be allowed on the premises.
4. Refrain from using independent sound systems.
5. Make use of the allocated bins for cigarette butts. Throwing butts on the ground is just as bad as plastic straws.
6. Absolutely no littering on the premises. (Confetti and glitter included).
7. Enjoy your papsak at your campsite and not on the dancefloor.
8. All types of weapons are strictly prohibited.
9. All sorts of illegal substances are strictly prohibited.
10. No swimming after 19:00.

The organizers accept no responsibility whatsoever for injury, death, loss or damage of any nature to persons, vehicles or belongings. This applies even to negligence of any kind by the promoters, venue and contractors. Due care has been taken to make this event safe and secure. Tickets are non-refundable. Right of admission reserved! Do not drink and drive.
