Biography
South African DJ, producer, and electronic soul artist Jullian Gomes has spent over two decades crafting a deeply emotive and sophisticated sound rooted in house music, soul, Latin rhythms, and African musical heritage. Raised in South Africa and introduced to house music at just eight years old, Gomes developed an early passion for music that would eventually shape him into one of the country’s most respected electronic artists.
Since his first professional gig in 2003, Jullian’s career has steadily evolved through a dedication to musical storytelling, refined production, and an unwavering love for soulful electronic music. His sound blends shuffled percussion, warm melodies, and rich vocal textures, creating music that feels equally at home on intimate dancefloors and reflective listening journeys.

In 2010, Jullian represented South Africa at the prestigious Red Bull Music Academy, further expanding his musical perspective on an international level. At just 23 years old, he also earned a South African Music Award nomination through the G.Family collective for the album Break the Silence.
Following his departure from G.Family, Jullian launched his solo career with the acclaimed single “Love Song 28” featuring Bobby, which later earned recognition at the Metro FM Awards. His debut album Late Dreamer, released in 2016, became a defining moment in his career, receiving widespread praise for its warm and timeless approach to electronic soul music. The album went on to win Best Dance Album at the inaugural Dance Music Awards South Africa in 2017, while “1000 Memories” featuring Sio received House Record of the Year.
