Australian and New Zealand drum & bass duo Flowidus have established themselves as one of the Southern Hemisphere’s most exciting exports, combining driving basslines, melodic production, and an unmistakable dancefloor energy. Made up of Raphael Henderson from Raglan, New Zealand and Garo Wolf Tanzi from Perth, Australia, the duo bring together their individual musical backgrounds to create a sound rooted in the culture and energy of drum & bass.

The Flowidus story began in Perth, where Raphael and Garo connected through their shared passion for drum & bass before developing their collaborative project in 2015. Their early work quickly attracted the attention of Andy C and RAM Records, leading to releases through the legendary label and its PROGRAM imprint. Their sound combines melodic hooks and soulful textures with powerful, driving basslines, creating a style that sits comfortably between euphoric festival anthems and heavier club focused drum & bass.

Flowidus broke through internationally with a string of standout releases, including ‘By Your Side’ with Friction and Raphaella, which became their first Platinum certified record, alongside fan favourites such as ‘Shelter’, ‘Fire’ and ‘Come Around’. Their music has earned support from some of drum & bass’s biggest names, including Andy C, Pendulum, Sub Focus, Dimension, Wilkinson and Friction, while their releases have also received regular BBC Radio 1 support.

Their relationship with Friction and K Tee’s Elevate Records became another important chapter in the duo’s development, with Flowidus building an extensive catalogue that further established their melodic, bass driven approach. More recently, the duo have expanded their output across labels including RAM Records, Crucast and their own FLWDSMSC imprint, launched in 2025 as the next chapter in their evolving musical journey.

Flowidus have taken their sound from the studio to dancefloors across Australia, New Zealand and Europe, with performances at festivals including Liquicity Festival, Northern Bass, Bay Dreams and Rhythm & Vines, alongside their debut European tour in 2023. Their growing international profile reflects a sound designed equally for large festival stages and intimate club environments.

With tens of millions of streams, a Platinum certified catalogue, heavyweight industry support and an expanding international touring schedule, Flowidus continue to push their melodic take on dancefloor drum & bass forward while staying connected to the culture that inspired them.
