Introduction

For South Africa’s matric class, Rage Festival is less a conventional music festival and more a week-long rite of passage. Returning to Ballito from 28 November to 5 December 2026, Rage brings thousands of young people together for a packed programme of music, pool parties, club nights and social experiences centred around The Sound Factory. Now entering its 24th year, the festival has built its identity around celebrating the transition from school into a new stage of life. It combines a destination getaway with a large-scale electronic music and nightlife programme across Ballito and surrounding areas.

Artists & Lineup

The first names for Rage Festival 2026 have already been announced, with a strong mix of South African favourites and festival heavyweights set to bring the energy to Ballito. Confirmed artists include Shimza, Uncle Waffles, DJ Kent and Kabza De Small, with more local and international acts still to be announced. From Shimza’s energetic house sets and DJ Kent’s long-standing influence on South African dance music to the Amapiano sounds of Kabza De Small and the global rise of Uncle Waffles, the early lineup points towards another diverse soundtrack across Rage’s various stages and experiences. More artists are still to be announced, so expect the lineup to grow as Rage Festival 2026 gets closer.

Venue

The Sound Factory is the central venue of the Rage experience in Ballito, designed as a large-scale nightlife destination rather than a traditional festival field. Its Superclub is the main attraction, with themed nights, large production elements and different areas offering alternative experiences. Beyond the venue itself, Rage extends into Ballito through pool parties, accommodation and other festival activities, making the destination part of the overall experience.

✅ Your Passport must be registered in the name of the person attending; parents or guardians cannot purchase one in their own name for someone else.
