Earthdance Garden Route returns in 2026! This globally celebrated psytrance and electronic music festival once again unites festival-goers in music, community, and connection. At its heart is the iconic Global “Prayer for Peace” Ceremony, linking thousands across the world in a shared moment of healing and unity. Born from a global movement that has united dance floors for peace since 1997, Earthdance Garden Route returns for its third edition in September 2026. More than simply a weekend of electronic music, the festival forms part of the worldwide Earthdance network, where communities across more than 50 countries gather to celebrate music, connection and the shared belief that peace begins with people coming together.

Hosted at Karoo62 near Ladismith, this Garden Route edition combines electronic music, camping and community in the heart of the Klein Karoo. The 2026 theme, “The Heart & Beat of Humanity,” reflects the festival’s focus on unity, intention and collective celebration, while continuing Earthdance’s long-standing tradition of supporting local charitable initiatives. This year’s beneficiary is Rosemoor Home for the Aged.

Artists & Lineup

Leading the 2026 edition is Serbian psytrance heavyweight Interception (Universal Tribe Records), whose energetic, driving sound has earned him recognition on international psychedelic dance floors. Joining him is a carefully curated lineup of respected South African artists, including Deliriant, SAAi, Plusminus, Psy Mantis, and Brontide, each bringing their own interpretation of psychedelic trance and progressive psytrance. Together, the lineup promises a musical journey that moves from deep, hypnotic grooves and progressive rhythms to high-energy peak-time psytrance, creating the immersive soundtrack that has become synonymous with the Earthdance experience.
