Let’s be real: spending seventy-two hours in the dust and dancing through a three-day weekend is the physical equivalent of an ultramarathon. 💀

You wouldn’t run forty-two kilometres without a recovery plan, so your body deserves the same level of care after a festival like Splashy Fen fest or a Habitat weekender.

The afterglow is earned through the music, but the recovery is required to get you from a festival state back to feeling like a functional human.

 

💦 Restoring your internal balance starts with rehydration and flushing the system. 💦

After thirty thousand steps a day, magnesium becomes essential for those cramping thighs and calves, while Vitamin C helps support an immune system that has dealt with sun, germs, and sensory overload.

Heavy-duty electrolytes could also be necessary to fix that dehydration headache you’ve been nursing since arriving home, but ultimately, you need water, and lots of it! Drink your 2L as the doctors say, and suddenly those ‘sun headaches’ start subsiding.😌
