Introduction

Johannesburg’s Halloween night is getting a darker soundtrack as Halloween Rave 2026 takes over AND Night Club and CARFAX in Newtown. Presented by Teknotribe, Science Frikshun, Psyology and The Temple, the event brings several established electronic music collectives together for a supernatural urban rave built around sound, energy and Halloween culture. The theme, “Embrace the Darkness Within,” invites attendees to explore their darker alter ego, with costumes encouraged as part of the experience. With multiple event brands coming together in one Newtown venue complex, this is aimed squarely at electronic music lovers looking for something darker and more underground this Halloween.
