Introduction

Piano People returns to Cabo Beach on 30 December 2026 for Piano People On The Beach, bringing the soulful and uplifting sound of Amapiano to the Mother City’s summer festival season. Following a sold out Cape Town edition, Piano People returns with a lineup that brings some of the biggest names in South African dance music together for a late afternoon into late night celebration. The event runs from 16:00 until 02:00, giving the crowd plenty of time to move from sunset into the night at one of Cape Town’s beachfront venues.

Artists & Lineup

The 2026 lineup is firmly rooted in Amapiano and contemporary South African dance music, with the Scorpion Kings, Focalistic and Dlala Thukzin among the headline names. They are joined by Scotts Maphuma & Bob Mabena, Sam Deep, W4DE, CA MA GU, Not A She, Nomtah and VVSAMI, with Teddy Goodfella hosting. The programming brings together established artists and newer voices from the South African scene, keeping the focus on the soulful, rhythmic sound that defines Piano People.
