Goldswindler returns to Cape Town for a final, unforgettable night. After years of hosting wildly celebrated underground parties, the legendary brand will close the curtain with Goldswindler Presents: DJ Ruby & Friends, a farewell event promising an intimate, high energy celebration of progressive house, melodic techno, and underground electronic music.

Headliner: DJ Ruby (Malta)

The internationally acclaimed DJ Ruby will headline this rare South African appearance. Known for his emotive, cinematic sound, Ruby has performed at some of the world’s top festivals, including Balance Croatia and ADE (Amsterdam Dance Event), alongside global icons such as Guy J, Guy Mantzur, Hernan Cattaneo, Forty Cats, and Anthony Pappa.

Hailing from Malta, DJ Ruby is celebrated for deep, progressive sets that combine hypnotic rhythms with soaring melodies. His performances are renowned for taking audiences on transformative journeys. Cape Town fans will have the rare chance to experience his magic up close in an intimate setting that highlights the connection between artist and crowd.

Supporting Artists

NYX (aka DJ Miss Creamer) returns to the Goldswindler stage where the journey began. A key figure in Cape Town’s electronic music community, NYX has captivated dancefloors for over a decade with high energy, unforgettable sets. She has performed alongside legends such as John 00 Fleming, Dave Seaman, Alexey Sonar, Haldolium, and Nick Warren, as well as local icons Protoculture, Faadil, and Dino Moran. For this final event, she will open with a special commemorative set celebrating Goldswindler’s legacy.

Resident DTK (Diskotekah) will close the night with a three hour set curated exclusively for the farewell event. Since 2014, Diskotekah has been a creative force in Cape Town’s queer nightlife scene, blending groovy house, nu disco, and melodic techno. Led by Mr Jay and Michael Beaumont, the closing set promises to straddle ecstasy and existential crisis, providing a fitting conclusion to Goldswindler’s Cape Town journey.
