SUPERPITCHER

German born producer, musician, and DJ Superpitcher, real name Aksel Schaufler, has carved out one of electronic music’s most distinctive and cinematic careers. Based in Paris and emerging in 1996, Superpitcher quickly became a defining figure within Cologne’s influential KOMPAKT label, where his emotive productions and countless remixes helped shape the sound of melodic techno and avant garde house for a generation.

Known for his ability to stretch time and emotion across extended compositions, Superpitcher’s music blends melancholy, euphoria, and hypnotic groove into immersive sonic journeys. His third full length album, The Golden Ravedays, released in 2017, was an ambitious 12 chapter epic that showcased his flair for storytelling through electronic form.

In 2011, Schaufler joined forces with Rebolledo to form Pachanga Boys, a cult project that fused psychedelic house with cosmic flair. Together they launched the Hippie Dance label, further expanding his creative universe beyond traditional club structures.

From slow burning dancefloor moments to emotionally charged anthems, Superpitcher’s sets are known for their unpredictability and depth. Decades into his career, he remains a boundary pushing architect of melodic, leftfield electronic music.
