Biography
Afrojack is one of electronic dance music’s most influential producers and performers, renowned for his explosive sound, crossover success, and technical mastery. Born Nick van de Wall in Spijkenisse, the Netherlands, he rose from underground DJ roots to become a multi Grammy Award winning, platinum selling global icon.
His international breakthrough came with “Take Over Control,” a multi platinum hit that dominated clubs and charts worldwide and established his imprint Wall Recordings as a cornerstone of modern club culture. Afrojack’s creative reach extends far beyond his own releases. He has co written and produced some of the biggest records in contemporary music, including David Guetta’s “Titanium,” Pitbull’s “Give Me Everything,” and Beyoncé’s “Run the World (Girls).”
