Biography
Absolute Threshold is the solo Psychedelic Trance project of South African DJ Yaseen Hartley. Although having been inspired by music since an early age, Yaseen began to pursue his passion for underground psychedelic music when he started djing in 2016. Since his debut DJ set at Sonic Revolution festival in Tsitsikama, Eastern Cape. He rapidly became a household name across Cape Town playing at indoor and outdoor events locally and nationally such as Urban Tribe’s – The Playground festival Vol. 3 2017 (KZN), SouthernTipsy-Deception 2018 (Cape Town), Freaky Forest-Frenzy (Eastern Cape), Freaky Forest-Faisca, Freaky Forest-New Year’s 2018/2019, Freaky Forest-Fractal 2019, Zodiac, State Alchemy, Ear’s Don’t Lie, Trancemission, Paradigm, The Psygasm Experience, Viral Spiral, SouthernTipsy-Winter Unleashed 2019, Our Minds festival 2019 and Alien Safari-Masqued Ball 2020.

He has also featured on the Saturday Psydshow on Muthafm.com as well as recorded exclusive mixes for Our Minds Music, State Alchemy, Psymedia and the international record label, Sinuessa Records. Currently representing Our Minds Music and Mythical Experience Records. Outside of the decks he is also the founder and owner of Mythical Experience Records based in Cape Town, South Africa.
