Biography
SIDETRKT is from the mind of Australian born artist Richy Gale. Richy has always had a deep passion for electronic music, he began producing music using Cubase 5 when he was 16 years old and over the last 14 years, he has developed a particular taste in music that shows in his productions.
It must take the listener on a journey , creating worlds through sound.
Richy brings crisp bass lines , lush melodies and beautiful sound design to the dance floor, with a perfect mix of beautiful and aggressive sounds that complement each other. Richy is proud to be representing UP Records Australia! A label that he has been listening to since it all began and a big achievement to be able to release music with them.
Sidetrkt’s debut release (Off The Beaten Path) was released through “Twisted Lotus Records” and had a great response including radio air time in Byron Bay as well as in Melbourne and was also featured on the PodCast “Australian Made” Richy currently has a collaboration track with another Australian artist Tridak “Fusion” that was released this year by Up Records.
He is currently working on his debut Solo release with UP Records called “Cosmos” Cosmos is a collection of 5 space themed tracks, covering everything from the Moon landing to distant Alien rainforests and outer worlds. Keep an eye out for future releases and updates from SIDETRKT!
