Introduction
Cape Town gets the first stop of Yamatai Records’ South African debut, with the UK drum & bass imprint bringing its sound to Roxy Woodstock on 2 October 2026. Hosted by System of Synergy, the event forms part of a two-date South African run, followed by a Johannesburg show on 3 October. Yamatai arrives in South Africa celebrating five years of the label, which has been recognised as a Beatport Label of the Month and has released two number one records. For Cape Town drum & bass fans, the night offers a focused introduction to the label’s darker, heavier side, spanning neuro, halftime and other bass-driven sounds.
