Introduction
HABITAT ~ Arcadian Forest 26′ takes the Habitat experience into the trees, with three days of electronic music set beneath the forest canopy at Matroosberg Nature Reserve near Ceres. The concept is built around an imagined utopian world where people live among the trees, with the surrounding landscape becoming an important part of the festival experience. From Friday midday through Sunday afternoon, the forest hosts a programme led by international electronic artists alongside further acts still to be announced. With camping included, glamping available and daytime activities such as yoga and swimming, Arcadian Forest is designed as a full weekend away rather than a standalone night out.
Artists & Lineup
The confirmed lineup brings together artists from different corners of the electronic music spectrum. Emok, representing Iboga Records, joins Kaufmann from Drumcode, alongside Germany’s Senior Citizen and Temple Tears of Stil Vor Talent. More artists are still to be announced. The programming points towards a weekend that moves between psychedelic and progressive electronic sounds, techno and deeper melodic territory, while the forest setting provides the backdrop for the music.

Is This Event for You?
Arcadian Forest should appeal to electronic music lovers who enjoy destination festivals, forest settings and multi-day camping experiences rather than conventional city club events. The combination of international electronic artists, outdoor music, yoga, swimming and camping gives it a distinctly weekend-away character. It’s particularly suited to festival-goers comfortable with BYO camping and spending several days in a natural environment. Those looking for a short, urban club night or a festival without camping and outdoor elements may prefer a different format.
