6# The World of Psytrance: Voov Experience (Germany)
Located in Putlitz , between Hamburg and Berlin , this turtleneck offers a lot of interactivity to the public in a totally natural environment, including that the event works hard to keep preserved. If you’re old on the scene you’ve probably heard the name VuuV Festival out there, which since 2016 has been permanently changed to VooV Experience . A complete event that is responsible for the spread of Psytrance throughout Europe . In 2015 the Tribaltech Evolution , which takes place in Curitiba (PR), brought up a special stage with the name VuuV Stage in honor of the German festival.
As soon as the Goa Trance became popular in India , several visitors who were followers of the hippie movement and also of psychedelic rock landed in Goa in search of new experiences for the expansion of consciousness.
The creators of VooV at the time, DJ Scotty and Antaro , brought in 1991 roots from Goa to Germany , through a pvt that brought together about 100 people in its first edition. In 1992 the VooV Festival attracted about 2 thousand people, and today the event receives about 20 thousand people in their lands.
Venues at VooV Festival
The VooV seeks to provide the public activities that go beyond the dancefloor . The event has Chillas , Experience Stage , Street Market , where the mix fair and the food court are located with food from all corners of the world.
The festival also has a rest area, and a Healing Area dedicated to Mother Earth, where a group of enthusiastic creators, teachers, therapists, dancers, guardians of wisdom and musicians share and offer yoga classes, dance workshops, manual audio treatments and acoustics, lectures, various types of massages, ceremonies and meditation circles.
There is a lot of Trance , Progressive Trance , Full On , Goa , Dark , Hi Tech , Forest , besides of course Chill Out . Among the artists who performed at the last edition of Voov Experience are Astrix , Ace Ventura , Avalon , Tristan , Captain Hook , Mad Maxx , Ranji , Flegma , Ghost Rider and many other masters of the scene.
Lasers Show
The decoration of the event is ugly by the hands of MAE & MOA who have been working with the festival for more than two decades, always draw attention, as the team seeks to create something special with each new edition. They have been in the decoration market since 1991 , and are able to create multidimensional imaginary landscapes, which combine with the legendary laser show of the LASER BEAM FACTORY . This light show is part of the whole visual concept of the festival, with the aim of attracting the public to a surreal world of light and color.
An innovation, and that we hardly see in the events here, but that in VooV you will find, are the projections in the water that are made by IlLLUMINATED ART in the lake that you have on site, with 3D image and a kaleidoscope of colors. Totally psychedelic!
