Introduction

Kunda Valley Chapter 4 returns to Diepklowe Nature Reserve for five days of electronic music, nature, community and discovery. Rather than presenting itself as a conventional festival, Kunda describes the experience as an ongoing playground for consciousness expansion and a place to reconnect with yourself, with the music and surrounding landscape providing the setting. Venue

Kunda Valley takes place at Diepklowe Nature Reserve, a 550-acre protected natural area in Elgin, Grabouw. The valley is surrounded by indigenous vegetation and provides habitat and safe passage for local fauna and flora. The campground sits around the valley’s dam, while the reserve itself contains varied and sometimes challenging terrain, including steep drops, spiky vegetation, spiders and snakes.
