Brazilian DJ and producer Synthatic, the project of Vinicius Ferreira, has been developing his distinctive sound within the psychedelic electronic music scene since the late 2000s. After beginning his DJ career in 2008, Ferreira created the Synthatic project in 2015, drawing on his experience within Psytrance while developing a more progressive sound built around groove, melody, and detailed electronic production.

With a background in Phonographic Production and Electronic Music Production from Anhembi Morumbi University, Ferreira approaches his music with a strong focus on production technique and sonic detail. Synthatic’s sound combines the driving energy of Progressive Trance with prominent melodies, groove, carefully crafted tones, and immersive atmospheres.

Synthatic has built an international profile through releases on established electronic music labels including Alien Records, Iboga, Shamanic Tales, Magic Moments, Zenon, Synk87 and Spin Twist. In 2020, he released his debut album Take a Ride, marking an important step in the development of the project and further establishing his position within the Progressive Psytrance scene.

His DJ career has taken Synthatic to festival stages and dancefloors around the world, with recent performances including Universo Paralello and Baobá Festival. His sets carry the same characteristics found throughout his productions, combining driving progressive rhythms, melodic movement, polished production and the psychedelic energy that shaped his musical roots.

With a growing catalogue of original productions and remixes, Synthatic continues to explore the space between Progressive Trance and Psytrance while developing a sound that is distinctly his own.
