Stephy Longueira

Stephy Longueira is a South African electronic music artist known for her magnetic presence, driving energy and genre-fluid sound. Her sets are defined by groovy basslines, enchanting vocals and an instinctive ability to shape the energy of a dance floor, creating immersive sonic journeys that evolve naturally with the moment.

Fuelled by a fearless attitude and an unwavering passion for music, Stephy stepped into the electronic music scene in 2021 and quickly established herself within Cape Town’s vibrant underground circuit. Since August 2022, she has toured regularly across South Africa, performing at an eclectic range of venues, events and experiences — from intimate club nights and underground warehouse events to luxury brand launches, festivals and open-air gatherings. In December 2022, she made her international debut at Sound of Summer in Namibia.

Alongside her career as an artist, Stephy is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of The Concilium, the company behind The Gathering – an invitation-only immersive music and experience concept set in the Tankwa Karoo. Launching in 2026, The Gathering brings together music, art, design, hospitality and the landscape to create a distinctly curated experience centred around connection, discovery and sound. Through the project, Stephy has expanded her role beyond the decks into artist curation, creative direction, experience design and the development of a complete experiential world.

Stephy’s sound is rooted in versatility and storytelling. Rather than being defined by a single genre, she moves fluidly between House, Indie Dance, Bass House, Tech House, Afro Tech and Techno, drawing from deeper and more underground electronic influences to create a sound that is distinctly her own.

Her daytime sets lean into warm, groove-driven territories, evolving with the setting and atmosphere as day turns to night. As darkness falls, her sound takes on a darker, more hypnotic character. Enigmatic vocals, rolling basslines and driving rhythms form a recurring thread throughout her sets, with each selection contributing to a broader narrative. Whether exploring sun-soaked grooves or pushing into more underground territory, she maintains a strong sense of momentum, cohesion and atmosphere.

Her approach behind the decks is instinctive and highly responsive. Stephy reads a room with confidence, adapting to the energy of the crowd without losing her own sonic identity. Her performances are characterised by an infectious presence – always smiling, always moving and deeply connected to the people in front of her – creating an atmosphere that feels less like a performance and more like a shared experience.

Her growing list of appearances includes POD Karoo, Halo Night Club and AfrikaBurn, alongside numerous national tour stops, open-air experiences and international appearances in Namibia and Australia. With a sound that continues to evolve and an increasingly broad footprint across the South African electronic music landscape, Stephy Longueira has established an identity that is distinctly her own – one rooted in connection, movement and the belief that music can turn a moment into a memory.
