Sophie Francis is a Dutch DJ and producer whose early passion for music quickly blossomed into an international career. Half of her childhood was spent in South Africa, where she developed her love for piano and singing, before discovering DJing as part of a school project at age 14. She immediately became captivated by the art of mixing and production, booking her first residency at a local bar and honing her skills behind the decks.

“She realised she could connect with people in a powerful way through music, and that connection became the driving force of her career.”

Signed by Always Management in 2015, Sophie quickly performed on global festival stages including BCM Mallorca, The Ruins Festival in South Africa, and appeared on national TV in South Africa to an audience of 1.5 million viewers. In 2016, she released tracks like “Drop Of A Dime,” “Up In This,” and “Bad Boy” on Freeway Recordings, all of which charted in Beatport’s top 20 and received support from Tiësto, Quintino, and David Guetta. She continued building momentum with her first vocal track “Walls” and the club hit “Don’t Stop,” earning airplay on major Dutch radio stations. Recognised as one of Spotify NL’s Top 25 Most Influential Artists Under 25, Sophie Francis has become a standout figure in modern dance music.
