Playground Twins

Playground Twins are a Cape Town–based DJ and production duo, established in 2015, known for blending house, deep house, Afro house, melodic house & techno, indie dance, progressive and organic sounds into emotionally rich and uplifting dance floor experiences. What truly sets the duo apart, however, is a philosophy rooted in service, community, and creative impact.

Beyond the decks, Playground Twins have built a legacy that extends far beyond club culture. Through their non-profit organisation, GrowingOGs, they have spent over six years mentoring and educating more than 700 young creatives, using music as a tool for empowerment and personal growth. From hosting free DJ and music workshops in remote areas such as the Transkei, to engaging global audiences, their work consistently bridges art and social impact.

Musically, Playground Twins deliver sets that balance groove, melody, and emotion, creating journeys that resonate across diverse dance floors. Their sound has traveled internationally, with performances across South Africa, the United States, India, Thailand, Portugal, Spain, the Netherlands, Tanzania, Turkey, Israel, and Germany, while maintaining strong roots in the local scene.

As producers, they are affiliated with OG Records Africa and Afrolux Records, contributing to a growing catalogue that reflects their evolving sonic identity. Playground Twins are not just DJs , they are custodians of a movement where music, meaning, and community exist in harmony.
