Biography
After dwelling within deep and melodic atmospheres throughout Australia, Matt Dwellers’ sound has grown in experience and enthusiasm for out-of-the-box creation. From Melbourne to Brisbane, he has made it through every venues and festivals with the same hunger for new experiences and enlightment. With melancholic elements often overthrown by brilliant melodies, Matt’s creation’s fell within a range of deep progressive and minimal styles. But Matt has now returned to his homeland and is willing to explore a whole new direction in his own genre.
Born and bred in France, Matt ventured to Melbourne where the inspiration of the local scene and Australian doofing culture set in. He has worked with many labels, collectives and festivals such as : Bassic Records, Black Market, Doesn’t Matter, Recovery Collective, Bohemian beatfreaks, Rabbits Eat Lettuce (Byron Bay), Subsonic (Sydney), Earthcore (Melbourne) and many more. His music quickly started to spread across the world and got
attention from international labels such as Techgnosis Record (Toronto), Undergroove Music (Mexique), 8days (Montreal) home of his latest album Zarka, a middle-east influenced project.

Matt has now set a new line of process. While still working on his classial Techno/Organic House projects, he also partners up with voices from the young Parisian scene, adding more range to an already broad sense of music. Mixing his own savoir-faire with emmerging talents is a very exciting challenge that allows him to grow creativily. He learned to adapt his unique sound to match the sensibilities of various artists from different backgrounds, expanding more and more their boundaries and trying new experiences.
Although he has been pretty busy in the studios, Matt’s first love is and will always be the crowd. He has already been seen in many events in France such as Play It (Corsica), Acontraluz (Marseille) or Berlinpinpin (Paris), making sure people could still get their weekly dose of music and good times.
