Biography
Bristol based DJ and producer Jody Wisternoff is a true pioneer of UK electronic music. With a career spanning nearly four decades, he has evolved from teenage DMC World DJ Championship finalist to one of the most respected figures in deep and progressive house.
Wisternoff first emerged in the late 1980s at the heart of UK rave culture, playing legendary warehouse parties for Fantazia and Universe and holding a residency at Bristol’s iconic Lakota. A chance meeting with Nick Warren led to the formation of Way Out West, one of the most influential house and trance acts of the 1990s. The duo achieved major chart success including the UK dance number one Mindcircus and their critically acclaimed self titled debut album.

Alongside his work with Way Out West, Wisternoff has built a celebrated solo career rooted in deep, melodic storytelling. As a key member of the Anjunadeep family, he co curates the globally recognised annual compilation series and released his acclaimed studio album Nightwhisper. His follow up project Welcome To My World further cemented his status, earning millions of streams and widespread support across global radio and dance platforms.
