Born Norman Cook, the British DJ, producer, and remix pioneer has spent more than three decades redefining dance music through his unmistakable blend of big beat, house, funk, hip hop, and rock influences. Beginning his musical career as the bassist for The Housemartins before launching projects including Beats International, Freak Power, Pizzaman, and The Mighty Dub Katz, Cook eventually introduced the Fatboy Slim alias in 1996.
