BOKKIE ULT

Gauteng born DJ and producer BOKKIE ULT is one of South Africa’s most promising new wave tastemakers, building his reputation on ambition, discipline, and a fearless dedication to growth. His journey began early, winning both the Red Bull Campus Clash and the 2013 Gauteng Carnival DJ competitions while still in high school, instantly marking him as a rising force within the local scene.

After sharpening his craft, BOKKIE ULT officially stepped into the production spotlight with a debut EP on Ocha Records. A brief creative reset followed, allowing him to refine and define his sound. That evolution paid off in 2022 with a two track EP on Aluku Records alongside his bandmates AATMAN. The lead track Nasha reached number one on Traxsource’s Electronica Top 100 chart for two consecutive months, signaling a breakthrough moment.

Momentum accelerated in 2023 with the release of 10 000 Hours EP via Sony Music Africa, a project that expanded his reach through national and international radio support, as well as accompanying music videos. In 2024, he earned a feature on Anjunadeep’s all South African EP compilation tied to their Open Air series, further solidifying his global trajectory.
